About Karen

I’m Karen — a guide, teacher, and practitioner devoted to helping people come home to themselves in a way that is steady, embodied, and sustainable.
My work is for those who carry a lot — individuals and organizations alike. People who are capable, thoughtful, and responsible. People who are often the ones others rely on. And who, somewhere along the way, learned how to hold it all together — sometimes at the cost of their own ease, vitality, or sense of being truly met.
I don’t work from a place of fixing or pushing. I work from a deep respect for the intelligence of the body, the nervous system, and the human capacity to heal when given the right conditions. My role is not to tell you who to be, but to help what is already wise within you begin to land — in your body, in your daily rhythms, and in the way you relate to yourself and the world around you.

My Approach

At the heart of my work is embodied practice — not as something you add to an already full life, but as something that lives alongside you.
I draw from Yoga Therapy, Ayurveda, Jyotiṣa (Vedic astrology), nervous-system–informed therapeutic practices, and contemplative traditions. These lineages offer a profound understanding of the whole human being — body, mind, emotions, environment, and purpose. But my work is not about theory or spiritual bypassing. It is about translation
 — making ancient wisdom practical, relevant, and livable within modern lives and organizations.
What I offer is not a collection of tools, but a way of working that helps insight move out of the intellect and into lived experience. This is where real change happens — when understanding becomes something you can feel, trust, and return to in daily life.

Lineage & Training

I am, first and always, a student.
My path has been shaped through years of study with teachers and mentors from around the world, across multiple lineages and disciplines. I am trained as an Āyurvedic Practitioner, Yoga Therapist, CBT Practitioner, and Reiki Master, and have devoted my life to understanding how healing unfolds when the body, nervous system, and inner world are approached with care, respect, and patience.
I hold deep reverence for the wisdom traditions I work within — not as dogma, but as living teachings that continue to evolve through practice, relationship, and lived experience. This orientation toward humility, listening, and learning informs everything I offer — whether I am working one-on-one, guiding a group, or supporting leaders and organizations.

Who I Work With

I work with individuals who are ready to move beyond insight alone, and into a more embodied, integrated way of living — especially those who have spent years adapting, holding, or staying strong.
I also work with organizations and leaders who understand that sustainable performance, resilience, and culture are not built through strategy alone, but through human beings who feel regulated, resourced, and connected to themselves and one another.
Across both paths, my work is relational, grounded, and deeply human. I meet people where they are, honor what they’ve carried, and support change that unfolds at a pace the system can actually integrate.

An Invitation

Whether you arrive here seeking personal healing, professional support,
or something you can’t yet fully name, you are welcome.
Anāya is not a destination or a quick solution. It is a living path — one that honors responsibility without self-abandonment, depth without overwhelm, and growth that feels steady, humane, and real.
If you feel a quiet resonance here, trust that. It’s often the beginning.

I am always excited to connect with new people and explore opportunities for collaboration. Whether you have a question, need guidance, or just want to say hello, feel free to reach out. You can contact me via email at info@anayawithin.com. I look forward to hearing from you!
